Well, it looks like there are several places I\u2019ll have to put on my to-eat list!<\/p>\n

The Chinese Restaurant Awards announced its winners recently, including winners of the Social Media Choice Awards judged by a couple foodies in town including Sherman (from a lil old blog you may or may not have heard of \ud83d\ude1b Sherman\u2019s Food Adventures<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Here are some of the winners of the Critics\u2019 Choice Signature Dish Awards that I\u2019m looking forward to trying soon:<\/p>\n

Landmark Hotpot House\u2019s Salt and Pepper Crusted Dungeness Crab<\/strong>
\nMostly because I love crab and have not tried it prepared this way.<\/i><\/p>\n

Golden Eats Seafood Restaurant\u2019s Chicken with Sticky Rice in Claypot<\/strong>
\nI love a good claypot, but to be awarded best in Vancouver must be a whole \u2018nother level.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Jade Seafood Restaurant\u2019s\u00a0Lamb Hotpot<\/strong>
\nMany people are surprised that lamb is part of Chinese cuisine, but if anyone does lamb well, it definitely is us Chinese folk ;).<\/i><\/p>\n

Yue Delicacy Restaurant\u2019s Durian Eggtart<\/strong>
\nDurian is delicious and even more delicious in egg tart form!<\/i><\/p>\n

And the winners of the Social Media Choice Awards:<\/p>\n

Corner 23\u2019s Best Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice<\/strong>
\nI don\u2019t know what this is or why I\u2019m suddenly inclined to have some, but I must.<\/i><\/p>\n

Parker Place (Aberdeen) Meat & B.B.Q.\u2019s Best Hong Kong-style Roast Duck<\/strong>
\nI\u2019ve been here previously and I wholeheartedly agree this is THE best.<\/i><\/p>\n

Doolami Dessert\u2019s Best Mango Sago with Pomelo\/Grapefruit<\/strong>
\nThey had me at MANGO SAGO.<\/i><\/p>\n
