\nThis year just flew by. It feels like only months ago that I compared Mama Fury’s home cooking to dining out<\/a> for Chinese New Year celebrations.<\/b><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n
\nIn the year of the tiger<\/b>, I started Vancouver Food Tour<\/a> – the #1 most popular tourist attraction in Vancouver, appeared on TV<\/a>… twice<\/a>, said “yes” to The Cowboy<\/a> of my dreams, ate a lot of balls<\/a>, dined on the world’s first floating dining room<\/a> built on plastic bottles, went prawning at sea and devoured live spot prawns<\/a>, reported live from the Winter Olympics<\/a> and consequently gave up eating meat<\/a>, travelled<\/a> with my stomach, and ate deep fried butter and beer<\/a>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nOne especially rewarding and humbling experience was judging in the prestigious HSBC Chinese Restaurant Awards<\/a><\/b> in Vancouver. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n
