\nListed here are some of the most-recommended Chinese eateries in
\ntown. They are the winners of the 2012 Diners’ Choice Awards (part of
\nChinese Restaurant Awards).\n<\/p>\n
\nSupporters nominated their favourite restaurants online from October
\n18-31. In November, the public voted on the nominees – a total of 12,521
\nvotes were cast.\n<\/p>\n
\n“The annual results are a true barometer of the best of the best in
\nChinese dining and reflect the local trend to more and more great
\nChinese restaurants continuing to push the bar in Greater Vancouver,”
\nsays Craig Stowe, Founding Director of the Chinese Restaurant Awards.\n<\/p>\n
\nOn top of the Diners’ Choice Awards, this year, the Chinese
\nRestaurant Awards hosted their first-ever Signature Dish Dining
\nFestival, during which the city’s Chinese restuarants showed off their
\nfare by offering diners specially designed menus that feature their best
\ndishes. 8,000 diners took part in tasting some of the most creative and
\nscrumptious Asian cuisine in Vancouver.\n<\/p>\n
\nAn awards ceremony to honour the 2012 Diners’ Choice Awards winners
\nwill take place January 11, 2012 at the River Rock Casino Resort’s Show
\nTheatre.\n<\/p>\n
