Our stellar chef lineup will shine during the gala reception, contributing to St. Paul’s Foundation’s vital fundraising initiatives for advancing medical research at the new St. Paul\u2019s Clinical Support and Research Centre on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus.<\/p>\n

Since 2008, donors to Scotiabank Feast of Fortune have played a crucial role in raising over $12.2 million, supporting essential initiatives such as life-saving diagnostic tools, surgical equipment, and impactful research studies across Providence Health Care\u2019s hospitals and care sites. As a longstanding partner, the Chinese Restaurant Awards has evolved into a signature collaborator of the Scotiabank Feast of Fortune, embodying our dedication to making a lasting impact on the future of medical advancements.<\/p>\n

This year, we are proud to raise funds for the Clinical Support and Research Centre \u2013 the first fully integrated, advanced medical research facility in Western Canada. New wave culinary talents will present Chinese cuisine-inspired creations<\/strong><\/span>
\nDonors and guests attending Scotiabank Feast of Fortune charity gala are in for an extraordinary culinary journey. Crafted by the Chinese Restaurant Awards, a collaboration of five culinary talents will unveil delightful surprises to kick off the gala. This lineup underscores the Chinese Restaurant Awards’ ongoing commitment to showcasing the prowess of young and ambitious chefs.<\/p>\n

Despite the chefs’ diverse culinary focuses, they will join forces to offer a Chinese-inspired gourmet experience at the gala reception, infused with their passion for showcasing their Chinese roots and heritage. The presentation will also draw inspiration from the upcoming Lantern Festival, marking the final day of Lunar New Year celebrations, offering a preview of the creative culinary delights traditionally savored on this festive occasion. This synchronicity is particularly fitting as the gala coincides with February 24, 2024, the very day of the Lunar New Year’s Lantern Festival.<\/p>\n
