A Shanghainese Favourite for 25 Years, with Good Food and Honest Prices

Long’s Noodle began on Vancouver’s Main Street in 2001, earning a loyal following for comforting Shanghainese cooking at reasonable prices. A multiple Chinese Restaurant Awards winner, it became a familiar stop for diners craving dumplings, noodles and a warm welcome. Behind the restaurant are husband and wife Long S. and Sandy S., who have shared a love of good food and hospitality throughout its 25-year history. Their aim has always been simple: to create a comfortable place where family and friends can gather over freshly prepared meals. That personal touch remains an important part of the restaurant’s appeal in its new home.

Taste Advisors have plenty of favourites here. The pan-fried pork buns and xiao long bao are a good starting point, followed by tan tan noodles, wine chicken and beef rolls. Order a selection to share, and it is easy to understand why this homey cooking inspires such affection.
