the 2012 Critics’ Choice Signature Dish Awards.

have just announced the winners in the Critics’ Choice Signature Dish
Awards component. A panel of eight critics has singled out 28 dishes
they deem noteworthy at restaurants around Metro Vancouver. These
include the following:

Dry-fried curry Dungeness crab from James on Hastings Chinese Restaurant (2683 East Hastings Street)

Hot-pot soya sauce chicken from Big Chef Restaurant (#1060-8580 Alexandra Road, Richmond)

Bitter melon omelette from Hoi Tong Chinese Seafood Restaurant (#160-8191 Westminster Highway, Richmond)

Championship beef shank with noodle in spicy soup from Chef
Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle (1560 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, and
#2800-4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond)
