Celebrate the Year of the Ox with a charitable mission
2021 Dining for the Feast of Fortune offers exclusive menus and gift ideas for the Lunar New Year

Celebrating the Lunar New Year cannot be without a sumptuous feast. Since 2015, Chinese Restaurant Awards (CRA) has been showcasing culinary excellence at the annual Scotiabank Feast of Fortune event for St. Paul’s Foundation. This year, CRA and St. Paul’s Foundation wish to take this fundraiser to the next level by inviting the dining public to participate in this unique and first-of-its-kind dining series to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a meaningful mission.

2021 DINING for the Feast of Fortune is an unprecedented culinary experience that offers a delicate, refined and carefully curated vision of the Lunar New Year celebration. CRA has formed a culinary alliance with ten top-notch and generous Metro Vancouver eateries to raise funds for the new St. Paul’s at the Jim Pattison Medical Centre.

“Lunar New Year celebrations signify a farewell to the old and a welcome to the new. The year of 2020 has really highlighted the significane of health care and the importance of advancing life science and technology for the future. Bracing through the pandemic has been a humbling experience. Whether it be local restaurants’ perseverance or the dining public’s heartfelt support for the industry, the simple act of dining out or ordering takeout has transformed into uplifting stories that brings our community together. Therefore, 2021 DINING for the Feast of Fortune is the perfect opportunity with the right timing to connect these eateries’ dedication and generosity with the dining public’s enthusiastic participation over the course of this Lunar New Year, for the charitable cause of fundraising for the new St. Paul’s,” said Craig Stowe, President of Chinese Restaurant Awards.
