Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver, and Market by Jean-Georges present this epicurean dining event in celebration of the 8th annual Chinese Restaurant Awards.
The seven-course menu will be prepared in collaboration between four master chefs— two of which are only flying in for two nights from across the Atlantic Ocean.
Representing the East are award-winning chefs Christophe Moret and Samuel Lee Sum, from the renowned Michelin-starred restaurants at Shangri-La Hotel, Paris.
Showcasing culinary talent from the West Coast is Chef Ken Nakano from Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver, and internationally acclaimed Master Pastry Chef Thomas Haas.
These culinary stars will express each of their own food philosophy, and present the best of French, Cantonese, and West Coast cuisine.
East Meets West will take place on two evenings (January 29 & 30) at Market by Jean-Georges at Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver (1116 Alberni Street).
